Eleven of twelve jurors in the Lindsay Clancy trial were ready to excuse the killing of three living children.

During an interview last night juror Kellie Farina said the lone holdout "had the hardest time getting off the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children."

The meme is a joke. It still makes a good point. We are on a slippery slope.

We used to treat life as sacred.

Then abortion was supposed to be safe, legal, and rare. Then full term became fine.

Now a Massachusetts jury came within one vote of saying it is understandable for a woman to murder her three living children if she is depressed.

On August 10, 2026, Governor Maura Healey signed a law that stripped the 24-week line out of Massachusetts abortion statute. After November 8 a doctor's "professional judgment" is enough. The House passed it 119 to 33.

That is the same state where Lindsay Clancy sent her husband out for takeout on January 24, 2023, then strangled Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, with exercise bands in their Duxbury basement. She left the bands around their necks.

Callan died three days later.

She does not deny she killed them. Eleven jurors were ready to let her walk because she was depressed.

The foreperson started filling out the not guilty forms and said she was so excited. The others were mad at the one man who could not get past the murders.

Prosecutor Jennifer Sprague told that jury, "She was depressed. She was exhausted. She was done. She didn't want to try anymore." Sprague also said it was a choice she made.

Depression is real. Murder is still murder. Cora, Dawson, and Callan were not a diagnosis. They were three children.

That is how far down the slope we have come. It is terribly depressing. It is sad.

A culture that gets angry at the one juror who still called it murder has already decided some lives count less than her depression.
